Shoulder pain is a common complaint that can be caused by a variety of conditions, including impingement, rotator cuff tendonitis/tears, labral tears, thoracic outlet syndrome, and scapula dyskinesia. To ensure that patients receive the correct treatment, a proper diagnosis must first be made through orthopedic tests, strength and performance testing.

Treatment for shoulder pain may include increasing range of motion in the joint through soft tissue therapies or adjustments, decreasing inflammation with ultrasound or shockwave treatments, increasing strength in weakened muscles, and taping the joint to help offload the tissues causing pain. A personalised treatment plan will be developed to address the specific cause of the shoulder pain and provide relief.
