Back pain is a common problem in Australia, with 1 in 6 people experiencing a back-related issue. Lower back pain, the most common type of back pain. It can be sometimes difficult to determine the specific cause of lower back pain due to the many sensitive structures in the lower back, such as discs, joints, muscles, and ligaments.

Poor posture, trauma, sedentary lifestyle, tight muscles, ligament sprains, stress-related injuries, obesity, and psychological stress are all common causes of lower back pain.

At PPI, our multidimensional team offers a range of interventions, including chiropractic adjustments, shockwave therapy, remedial massage therapy, rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, psychological interventions, VALD force plate assessment, cryotherapy/heat therapy, personal training, flexion/distraction, and mobilisation, to help you not only get out of pain, but reach new levels of health and wellness.

To prevent back pain or reduce the risk of reoccurrence, it’s important to get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, stretch regularly, move every 30 minutes, and stay active.
