It can be sometimes difficult to determine the specific cause of lower back pain due to the many sensitive structures in the lower back, such as discs, joints, muscles, and ligaments.

Poor posture, trauma, sedentary lifestyle, tight muscles, ligament sprains, stress-related injuries, obesity, and psychological stress are all common causes of lower back pain.
